A thought experiment 101: multiple choice (select one)
1) you see the car coming at you at 100 mph with a 80% chance you get hit and die.
2) you don't see the car coming at 100 mph with a 50% chance you get hit and die.
3) you would rather die than break a law
Trump's deterence program is futile..the people illegally crossing the border absolutely realise the risk. They choose the one with lowest odds of dying.

Even if armed immigration officers were told to shoot to kill anyone illegally crossing the border fathers and mothers would still bring their children here...
